過硫酸銨是一種白色單晶體，密度1.98，在120°C 完全分解，完全干燥時可長期保存不分解，不易吸潮，但吸潮后逐漸分解放出氧和臭氧。溶于水受熱分解。有強氧化性，可作為化學試劑、氧化劑、漂白劑、脫臭劑、單體聚合引發劑。它還具有使用方便、安全等優點。

Uses:

儲存及使用注意事項：
過硫酸銨屬于非易燃品，但由于能釋放氧而有助燃作用，因此必須在一定條件下儲存。首先必須存放在干燥、密閉的容器中，其次應避免陽光直射、熱源、潮濕等不利因素。另外，一些雜質如臟物、鐵銹、少量金屬以及還原劑可能引起過硫酸銨的分解，在存放和使用過程中也必須注意。由于潮濕的過硫酸銨粉末及其水溶液有漂白和輕微的腐蝕作用，因此使用過程中應避免眼睛、皮膚和衣物直接與其接觸。
